My current stage of life has inspired works surrounding the images and development of my children. Having young children can certainly cut into much and sometimes all of the creative energy I have to produce. However, as babies grow into toddlers, the enchantment of watching them explore and emerge as fundamentally creative beings, is consuming. As I live and grow with these little creators, I aim to be part of their experience, to honor their love of making marks and to indulge my own desire of bringing permanence to these fleeting moments.
Using child-friendly materials and collaborating during family-friendly times and durations, my singular desire revolves around a complete immersion in a moment.
Dissatisfaction veiled as passion. Swallowed by injustice and terrified by every wrong. Stung by human nature, still soothed by a song.

Then there is a child, and you stop sleeping and going out, you have no time for the news of others or even your own thought. Everything speeds up and slows down just the same. Your world becomes more insular and now you speak a different way.
